I have to admit the reading for 2.0 made sense but I find I still have a hard time accepting it all simply for its lack of the human aspect.
I simply find my self torn as I come to enjoy and understand the aspect of how web 2.0 and library 2.0 can benefit people and their education, it is only with melancholy joy because a true human being ,the original social networking (face to face) has been removed.
Ironically this comes from a person who is a MMORPGer. I work in a computer lab at a library but blogs, and comment boards, and virtual reference librarians should never be the substitute for a real one. A real person.
I find it easier in many ways t0 research papers and do readings from an actual book instead of computer based or generated one. I just feel that although beneficial in many ways virtual will never or at least I hope never replace real libraries. Nothing beats the human aspect of things.
I like to do my research with a book in front of me to. For some reason I feel that I learn more from reading an actual book, I dont know call me crazy but it's true for me.
